I have been a busy blogger over here! The new look of Kremb de la Kremb simply happened because I was also changing up the educational blog I write called Dear Librarian.
In China, Edublogs is blocked and so is Tumblr. I was using both of these services to publish this blog and the Dear Librarian. Well, with those two services being blocked, I had to move to something else. I ended up purchasing the Dear Librarian domain plus got the Kremb de la Kremb one as well. So, now they’re ours!
It’s been really interesting to learn about how to host a website. They don’t just appear. I’ve also learned a ton about code because every little entry makes a difference, and it has to be entered in a certain way. For example, if I push on “enter” it might give a space but really in code it would look like this <br/>. I never would have known that one.
This is quite the boring post. At the heart of it though, I’m just excited! I’ve been blogging for a one year on the Dear Librarian. I’ve been recognized here by a very well known educator commentator. In the educational world (like all over from here to China to South Africa to the States), I’m actually becoming known as the “Dear Librarian.” That’s the part that feels pretty cool.
And, now, because I moved the site, I’ll still be writing. My tag line is, “ask me anything,” so feel free. Plus, my new themes are so much cooler! I’ve even added a chat box to the Dear Librarian. That’s instant asking;)
Here’s a little screen shot for you, but I recommend linking to the real thing: Dear Librarian.
